Week Eighteen – The Last Two

The stage is set for the Grand Finale! Two last dramas are racing toward conclusion with the championship games in the Family and First Divisions this week. First, a quick shout-out to the Louisiana Lightning (Denny) for securing the Super Bowl XXXIV title. Stay tuned next week for more details in this season’s wrap-up. But for now, let’s take a look at these Magical matchups.

DISNEY DIVISION

Okay, yes, it was called the Family Division until now, but we have rebranded to the Disney Division. Why, you ask? Well, the two top Titans of this division are the Farmville Furies (Maddie) and the Coastal Wave (Abbey).

Maddie has been requesting a change to the Disney league for some time now. And Abbey will begin working at Disney next week. Since these two own the division, well, here we are. Welcome to the happiest fantasy league on earth.

Last week, both Beauties took down the Beasts (Ben and Joey), Soarin’ into the championship with Herculean efforts.

Alas, there was no Cinderella story for those two frogs. But now, we get the enchanting conclusion to a magical season.

It is a Journey into Imagination, wondering which of these two former champions will be the Belle of the Ball as the first two-time champion. I can’t wait for the fireworks at the castle.

FIRST DIVISION

We also have a couple of Fairy Tales for the First Division, where a pair of princesses, the Dakota Dragons (Butch) and the West Virginia Rednecks (Rob S), were able to overcome a pair of lovable Monsters, this season’s dominant team, the Olney Ospreys (Kirsi) and the two-time champion Louisiana Lycanthropes (Kiley).

Congrats to the lovely princesses on their victories! Now, they don their tutus and have a dance-off to save the galaxy.

Admit it, you are thinking about Butch in a tutu. And, if you weren’t, you are now. You’re welcome!

Something like this?

But I veered off the Disney theme there, so how about an image for Seymour?

Should be quite the Endgame!

Good luck to those trying to be the greatest in all The Land!

See you next week for the season wrap-up.
