Championship Tally

Hello all, I wanted to do a quick posting to recognize the Champions. Sorry for the delay. Once the season ends, fantasy football moves way down the priority list.

FAMILY DIVISION

The Championship in the Family Division was a close matchup that came down to the wire.

Congrats to the Poultry Platoon (Erika) on a great season. They were the number one team during the regular season and followed that up with a win in the Championship. It was an impressive performance.

FIRST DIVISION

The Baltimore Bulldogs (Katie) pulled off a magnificent championship run. That run included five straight victories to close out the regular season before adding the two playoff wins. Seven consecutive victories to steamroll the league and claim the title. Impressive!

DYNASTY DIVISION

The game was over early and never in doubt. Sure, Joe Burrow and Joe Mixon lost all their stats for that game. But with the Phoenix Heat (Steven) up by 58, it didn’t matter.

The Heat had one of the most impressive seasons put together in our league. The Phoenix Heat (Steven) dominated during the regular season. But, in most years dominating during the regular season rarely ends with a championship. So, my theory, playoffs are a coin flip because regression catches up to everyone. Well, except for the Heat. Their domination in the Super Bowl was complete.

With two titles in four years, the Heat are certainly the class of the league right now.

And one last note, Steven’s title kept the woman from sweeping all three leagues yet again. The ladies have won seven of the nine titles over the previous three years. WOW!

The only thing to do now is the promotion draft, and our thirty-third season will be in the books.
